Hi, is there any difference between a job application cover letter and a research project cover letter? Thanks!

Yes. A cover letter for a job is a letter you submit with your job application that describes your experience and why are qualified for that job.

A cover page for a research project is the first page of a document that has the writer's name and other information.

The OWL at Purdue has samples of MLA and APA papers that have cover pages on them. I have attached the sample APA paper below. If you are looking to create a cover page, the example would be a good model.

However, if you are looking to write a cover letter for a job, the Career Development Office would be a great place to get some help.
